Marketing & Media Intern

The Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber of Commerce is seeking a part-time Marketing & Media Intern for their downtown Tacoma location.

Responsibilities
The Marketing & Media Intern is specifically responsible for: Develop and update collateral materials which promote the Chamber. Work with Communications group to ensure message is being effectively communicated and adheres to brand standards; Develop materials to promote the Chamber advertising/marketing opportunities; Execute companys day-to-day social media activities, including posting to and updating its social media platforms. Attend and staff PR and social media events as necessary; Maintain content on the Chamber site as directed by managers; Work in collaboration with Communications group on Chamber publications; Participate in Chamber events; Involvement in organizational operations of the Chamber Compensation The Marketing & Media Intern is a part time position that will not exceed 20 hours per week with an hourly rate of $9.00. The Intern will receive an ORCA card. No additional benefits will be provided. Conditions of Work Generally office or professional environment; may require travel within the county; may require occasional out-of-county travel; experiences frequent interruptions; occasionally deals with angry people. License/Certifications/Special Requirements High-school diploma or GED required.
