    At approximately 3:20 am on September 3, 2012, Officers from the Grand Rapids Police Department responded to Griggs St. SW and Buchanan Ave. SW after receiving a 911 call from a man who stated that he had been shot. Upon arrival, the Officers located two (2) victims suffering from gunshot wounds to the chest. Both victims were transported to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, and are listed in serious condition. The suspect is described as an unknown male, wearing khaki shorts and a white T-shirt wrapped around his head. The Grand Rapids Police Department Major Case Team is investigating. Anyone with further information about this incident is asked to call the Grand Rapids Police Department at 4563604 or Silent Observer at 774-2345.
