Abstract
In the past, the primary mode of interaction between an appraiser and his clients was the telephone and fax machine. Clients would send requests via fax, and then often follow it up with a phone call to make sure it was received. Tracking the progress of the appraisal meant more phone calls - a disruption for both the client and the appraiser But the modern, technologically advanced appraiser has a better method. Online Appraisal Tracking solution is a web-based application designed to effectively automate the tracking and processing of appraisals throughout the entire appraisal lifecycle while making it easy to maintain, track, and update what your customers view online. In addition to streamlining the appraisal process, this solution will provide your organization with the ability to better communicate and manage your business interactions with your external appraisers as well as your internal staff.

Introduction
This project is aimed at developing an Appraisal Tracker that is of importance to either an organization or a college. This Appraisal Tracker system is used to track the performance of an individual. An individuals performance is rated by himself and his superior in the organization. Performance appraisal is the process of obtaining, analyzing and recording information about the relative worth of an employee. The focus of the performance appraisal is measuring and improving the actual performance of the employee and also the future potential of the employee. The tasks for the next 6 months are set by the superior. The performance rating is done based on several attributes (like the timeliness, quality of work, communication skills etc). The system consists of two main components: 1. A front end which provides access to the application function to the end user 2. A site administration end which provides a management interface for application administrators to add, delete, and modify records, settings, and preferences in the system as well as generate reports from the database.

Advantages:
1. This solution is not only easy to use but will significantly aid to the overall staff productivity and customer satisfaction. 2. Customers, appraisers, internal staff, and internal management can access centrally stored data from any location in a secure, reliable manner. 3. The present invention is an on-line performance assessment, performance appraisal, objectives tracking, and training management system.
