Sir/ Madam, Kindly refer to the RFP issued by your state for Design, Development, Implementation and

Maintenance of an end to end lCT Solution for MGNREGS in West Bengal which was shared with MoRD for its comments. The same was also discussed in the Video Conferencing meeting held on 3rd May, 2012. 2. NREGASoft is used across country as central MlS to report the basic data through its core and essential

modules. The core modules like "work", "worker" and "funds" capture data on details of the "worker", "works taken up" and "funds utilized". However, certain other modules capture other relevant information such as training, Social Audit, On line work approval, online demand of funds, e-FMS, Grievance, etc. As and when, new functional requirements come up, for example e-FMS, they are added to the MlS for the use of states. 3. West Bengal is also using NREGASoft (MlS) for reporting the progress of MGNREGA

implementation and is fully operational on MlS. 4. State is advised that before any decision is taken to start the new lCT project under MGNREGA, the can be facilitated by NlC, New

details must be shared with MoRD so that integration with the NREGASoft Delhi. 5.

MoRD would like to advise that whatever lCT initiatives the state takes, basic data shall seamlessly and

on real time basis should flow in to NREGASoft automatically.
