Associated Student Government University of Arkansas ASG Senate Resolution No. 8 Author: Senator Madeleine Forrest Sponsor: Senator Madeleine Forrest A Resolution to Support Online Academic Overrides Whereas, The process of obtaining an override is time consuming for both professors and students; and An excessive amount of paper is used in the process; and The online process for the Math Department has proved successful for the students, faculty, and administration involved; and The student population is growing, hence the number of override requests will continue to increase; then The Associated Student Government requests that the Faculty Senate encourage all academic departments on campus to work to establish an online academic override system.
