Gives a false sense of power or security. Deaths from trying to stop trains or jumping off buildings because they thought they could fly.

Inhalants: substances with breathable fumes that are sniffed and inhaled to give mind altering high.

If the half life varies, it is unknown when enough of the drug is out of the system for it to be safe to use more of the drug (medical reasons). Illegal drug users (already impaired judgment) often overdose because of this as well
