Guidelines for Make:IT:Happen fund award credit logo: AmbITion Scotland Make:IT:Happen fund Awards

Please help us by using the above logo on ALL relevant funded projects. This helps to show what activities Creative Scotland and National Lottery funds have supported, and recognises that the work has been considered worthy of investment. It is a condition of our funding awards that the correct logos be used. A project may not be considered complete and payments may be delayed or withheld unless the correct acknowledgement has been made.

static logo use for web/screen/digital resolution: 72ppi (Please note: editing software may require higher resolution images for film). The words and symbols must always be used in the proportions, spacing and typeface as the provided award credit logo. Please try to use the master logo in full colour if you can. If there is some restriction, for example limited colour use or white out, then you can use the logo in greyscale. Exclusion zone We have defined an exclusion zone to protect the logo from other graphic elements such as type, images, boxes or lines. Please leave clear space of at least 33% of the logo height around the logo. Minimum size To make sure the logo is clear and easy to read, please ensure that the logo is no smaller than 420px wide (148mm at 72ppi).

Logo use If you need to show one or more logos together, please make sure they are all the same size and exactly aligned. Logo misuse The logo should always appear in a horizontal format. Do not stretch or compress the logo. You should always use the logo and not the words this project is supported by / funded by AmbITion Scotland. Please follow points one to eight below for the logo. 1. Always use the correct colours or greyscale. 2. Never rotate 3. Never distort 4. Never re-create in a different typeface 5. Never use with a strapline 6. Show enough contrast between it and the background 7. Always protect with the exclusion zone 8. Always use a high resolution logo for print (not a 72dpi web version).
