In A Dream I Saw the Face of Jesus Christ

When I went to bed slowly thoughts were swirling inside my head Some were good & others quite bad On one particular night I became in a trance Never intending to become an idol dance For in a dream I saw the face of Jesus Christ; His hair was magnified and his eyes enflamed The enchanting hour of its covet to explain; We regard his presence as in a daze Some getting lost in their very own purple haze; With blood soaked mannerism on his scars Through a word I knew it was the face of Jesus Christ Shelter lies dormant onto its beckoning call A pull at the heart through long lines apart We were amazed at the smile within for without we could not see All of my life seemed to become a great mystery achieved A poet could use his word to allure Beneath the habitation The Lord Jesus would one day rise in all that would wait for his appearing Long lines in the sand perhaps in a message We confessed our sin yet to begin over again The true seeker will seek the mystery achieved To get down on their knees It only proves that in him we are complete! Mario William Vitale 11/14/12 Explanation of poem: Jesus appeared to me in a dream to announce his soon coming reign, He wanted me to be ready for his appearing & not faint; To look to the cross amidst the pain & turmoil of everyday existence, Only to continually look at Jesus.
