End of the year program 28th and 30th of December.

The best way to end the year and start a new one is being active, and what better way to be active than two excursions: A traditional old mallorquin finca, with a good wine tasting, and a walk through nature. 28th December- Son Ramn: culture, history, wine and gastronomy. Start at the hotel at 9.30 a.m. in private bus to the finca of Son Ramon (s.XV) with one stop in the Puig of Santa Magdalena Inca in order to contemplate almost all of Mallorca. After we continue by bus the finca of Son Ramon and your guide will guide you through the place while explaining its history which is also part of the history of the island. We shall see the production and the elaboration of a variety of wines which come from Son Ramon's vineyards and we shall finish with a meal based on original products of Mallorca while tasting the different wines of the estate. On the way back to the hotel around 15.00h we shall stop in Sineu and you shall enjoy a free visit in this beautiful village and you can have a coffee if you wish. Back to the hotel is around 17.00 p.m.

30th of December- Portal Vells: Trekking on the coast through pines. Start at the hotel at 9.30 a.m. to El Toro a small urbanization close to Santa Pona, to do one of the most interesting excursions of the south west area of the island. Its length is about 8 km and the land is almost flat with a very good pathway. Following the coast on cliffs with beautiful panoramic views of the sea we shall enjoy one beautiful walk through an exuberant nature where one can see the island of Cabrera far away. Our mallorquin guide will explain to you the fascinating Talayotical age, traditional mythological stories and an exhibition of mallorquin slingshot. The end of the excursion is simply magic with the clear waters of Portal Vells and caves quarries, where the stone of the cathedral was taken. Back to the hotel is around 16.00 p.m.
