I want to use a similar layout for my own magazine and content. Layout analysis The way the copy is set into two columns makes the whole page look neat and well-ordered as well as making the text a lot easier to read; I will use this technique for my own double page. The way that the image and text are both black and white makes the mise en scene look original and vintage matched with the clothes she is also in. Analysis of the copy The article sub heading begins with the artists name in bold. The summary of this text is how Katy Perry managed to become who she is today with the childhood she had that got her there, referring to her as the breakthrough star of 08. With the use of the first lines of paragraphs in bold the audience knows which each part of text is going to be about. The copy also informs the reader of her interests, likes and dislikes, this is what I shall include in my magazine as this is what the reader is most interested in finding out.
