Para expresar que algo nos gusta, se utilizan las siguientes frases: I love... Me encanta(n)... I like... Me gusta(n)... I'm interested in... Me interesa(n)... I'm fond of... Me gusta(n)... ...reading leer ...computers las computadoras ...travelling viajar

Para expresar que algo no nos gusta, se utilizan las siguientes frases: I hate... Odio... I dislike... No me gusta(n) I don't like... No me gusta(n) I'm not interested in... No me interesa(n)... ...reading leer ...computers las computadoras ...travelling viajar

En ambos casos, las expresiones son seguidas de un sustantivo o de un verbo en -ing (forma del gerundio). Likes and Dislikes (Expresar Preferencias)

A QU HACEMOS REFERENCIA? Cuando hablamos de 'Likes & Dislikes' debemos tener en cuenta que podemos hablar de cosas que nos gustan, pero tambin de acciones que nos gustan. USOS: COSAS: Si quieres indicar que te gusta alguna cosa, lugar o persona podemos utilizar el verbo 'like'.
SUJETO + VERBO DE PREFERENCIA + RESTO DE FRASE

Me gusta la msica.

I like music.
Tambin podemos negar el verbo principal e indicar lo contrario, es decir, que no te gusta algo, alguien o algn lugar. No me gusta la msica.

I don't like music.

ACCIONES: Si queremos indicar que nos gusta hacer algo (alguna accin), debemos poner el verbo de esa accin en '-ing'.
SUJETO + VERBO DE PREFERENCIA + VERBO EN -ING + RESTO DE FRASE

Me gusta escuchar msica.

I like listening to music.

Tambin podemos negar el verbo principal e indicar lo contrario, es decir, que no te gusta realizar una accin. No me gusta escuchar msica. 3

CULES SON? Los verbos ms comunes para expresar preferencias son los siguientes. love like enjoy dislike hate I love (listening to) music. I like (listening to) music. I enjoy (listening to) music. I dislike (listening to) music. I hate (listening to) music.

QU DEBO RECORDAR?

Debemos tener en cuenta que la tercera persona de los verbos termina en 's' (I.e. She likes [listening to] music.). Recuerda que si hablamos de alguna accin utilizamos dos verbos, y el segundo verbo debe ir en -ing.

Uso de un gerundio detrs de verbos. Tambin suelen ir seguidos de gerundios los siguientes verbos: Like / Dislike / Hate / Love / Enjoy / Mind Ejemplos: I like travelling with my girlfriend I hate tidying my bedroom I enjoy dancing I dont mind going to English classes El verbo "like" puede tambin ir seguido por un infinitivo pero el significado es diferente: to like + gerundio: disfrutar to like + infinitivo: querer hacer algo porque considero que es positivo I like playing tennis I like to do my homework on Saturday mornings.
