Documents
"Automobile Culture - Wisconsin Historical Society." Wisconsin Historical Society. N.p., n.d. Web. 16 Dec. 2012. <http://www.wisconsinhistory.org/turningpoints/tp-042/>.
This is one of the best and most used primary source I found. This had a lot of information and the most primary sources that I saw. This had information that wouldnt have been found on any other website. Thought it was restricted to Wisconsin history only, it was still a good source. The website had documents, artifacts, plenty of pictures, and more. It clearly stated the information and was concise about it.

"Automobiles in the Progressive Era - American Memory Timeline- Classroom Presentation | Teacher Resources - Library of Congress." Library of Congress Home. N.p., n.d. Web. 16 Dec. 2012. <http://www.loc.gov/teachers/classroommaterials/presentationsandactivities/presentation s/timeline/progress/autos/>.
This website was also a great website. It had less documents than the Wisconsin History Society but, was tied with it in every other aspect. It nicely explained the history of automobiles. It was quick and straight-forward. It was setup cleanly and had nice pictures. Great source overall.

Blanke, David. "Rise of the Automobile | Teachinghistory.org ." Teachinghistory.org n.d. Web. 16 Dec. 2012. <http://teachinghistory.org/history-content/beyond-thetextbook/24073>.

. N.p.,

This website was an average website. It couldve been organized better. It took me a little time to find exactly what I was looking for. Also, the text wasnt as quick as it couldve been but, it still explained what it needed to. Overall average website section by David Blanke.

Rhoads, Harry. Auto race. N.d. None, N/A. The Automobile and American Life. Web. 16 Dec. 2012.
This picture really capture the image I was trying to get across. It shows that even in the 1880s there were auto races going on. It shows that people were actually interested in auto racing. There were actually more photos at the website. It showed some of the people lined up at the start/finish line. A great picture.

Unknown. Jeeps on Flatcar. N.d. None, N/A. Olive Drab. Web. 16 Dec. 2012.
This picture helps with what I was explaining when I said that a high amount of Jeeps were going to one regiment. Jeeps stacked up on a flatcar ready to be shipped and used in World War II. They were very helpful in the war.

Unknown. Wisconsin's First Coupe. N.d. Photographs of automobile manufacturing in Wisconsin, Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Wisconsin Historical Society. Web. 16 Dec. 2012.
This picture is very straight-forward. It simply showed one of the coupes in Wisconsin. But not any coupe, the first coupe in Wisconsin. That has some significance. It was helpful for me to show at the conclusion because, it was a wrap-up of the entire website.

Unknown. Restorted Mitchell. N.d. Classified File, Wisconsin. Wisconsin Historical Society. Web. 16 Dec. 2012. This was another simple picture. Once again, straight-forward. No crazy, unnecessary things, just a restored Mitchell with a pretty nice background. It shows that there indeed people fixing cars and restoring them for themselves or people that asked. Unknown. Construction Of Streetcar Tracks. N.d. Photographs of automobile manufacturing in Wisconsin, 1905-1968., Madison, Wisconsin. Wisconsin Historical Society. Web. 16 Dec. 2012. This picture shows that auto racing became a big thing. They were constructing a streetcar track to host races in Wisconsin. That was only in Wisconsin. Image the other states in the nation. They were most likely doing the same thing, creating streetcar tracks.

Unknown. Jeffery Car. N.d. Photographs of automobile manufacturing in Wisconsin, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Wisconsin Historical Society. Web. 16 Dec. 2012.
This is, once again, a simple straight-forward picture of one of the brands called Jeffery. A simple sedan in the snow in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It shows that, even though built in the 1800s-1850s. It looks like that the rear tires have chains on them for the needed grip on the snow.

Unknown. Winther Motor Company, Factory Interior. N.d. mages of the Winther Motor Truck Company, Kenosha, Wisconsin. Wisconsin Historical Society. Web. 16 Dec. 2012.
This shows that they were organized when building the trucks on the assembly line. It also shows the amount of organization needed to actually build a good truck in that time. It lastly shows all of the components just for that section of the truck. It might be the engine but, who knows.

Unknown. Winther Motor Company, Factory Interior. N.d. mages of the Winther Motor Truck Company, Kenosha, Wisconsin. Wisconsin Historical Society. Web. 16 Dec. 2012.
This is like the pervious picture where it is inside the Winther Motor Company in the assembly part of it. They are building what looks like a rim for their trucks but, I am unsure because, of the angle. If you look in the background, you can see the outer rims and the massive amount. I am unknown when this was taken but it looks around the early 1900s maybe late 1800s.

Unknown. Winther Motor Company, Factory Office. N.d. Winther Motor and Truck Company : Photographs, 1921, Kenosha, Wisconsin. Wisconsin Historical Society. Web. 16 Dec. 2012.
This was taken in the same manufactures company from the past two. This is in their factory office. You can see the size of the office and how small it is. Though its size, this company existed for some time. You can also see the abundance of paper. It is actually a high quality picture for the 1921s. Very nice picture.

This magazine could have been. I realize that it isnt solely for information alone but, it wasnt as helpful as it couldve been. It was helpful to show how some people acted on the road and other things pertaining to the people and their car. Overall a below average source.

Unknown. Tractor Plowing is Growing More and More into Use.. N.d. None, Virginia . The Countryside Transformed: The Railroad and the Eastern Shore of Virginia 1870 - 1935 . Web. 16 Dec. 2012.
This is very nice picture taken from Virginia. It shows tractors purpose and how it made plowing easier for the farmers. It has somewhat average quality. It looks very old compared to the picture taken in the Winther Motor Company. They are in the same time range and yet have very dramatic quality changes. Still a good photo.

Shea, Marilyn. Ferdinand Verbiest . N.d. None, N/A. China. Web. 16 Dec. 2012.
This picture was a nice picture to show that man behind the concept of the automobile. It was a simple image. It looks painted thought. Like someone who saw it took it a photo of because it looked interesting. It has average quality but, it gets clear picture down, who Ferdinand Verbiest is.

Unknown. Coventry Car Day. N.d. None, Coventry, England. Coventry Telegraph. Web. 16 Dec. 2012.
This pictures main purpose in my website it to show what I am talking about if you dont. It shows on of the best manufactures in the world, Ferrari. It also shows how one car companys cars can change. As you can see, dramatically. Nice picture for me to get my point across. It was edited by me.

Unknown. Cugnot's 1771 fardier vapeur. N.d. None, N/A. Nicolas-Joseph Cugnot. Web. 16 Dec. 2012.
This picture is just to show what Nicolas-Joseph Cugnots vehicle looked. It is nice and looks like it was taken in a studio or taken outside then edited to not have its original background. Either way, its great picture to have to get my point across.
