Kappa Delta Pi: November General Board Meeting Agenda 11/29/12 11:15am & 6:00pm

I. Special Thanks a. Alexs Lemonade Stand fighting childhood cancer one cup at a time b. Raised over $300 so far c. Winner Katelyn Wood! $71.00 General Business a. Previous Membership Requirements i. 30 credit hours/first-time sophomore standing ii. GPA of 3.2 or higher iii. At least 12 semester hours in education courses programmed, in process, or completed iv. Must attend at least 2 meetings and 2 events per year v. Student teachers (seniors) must attend 1 meeting and 1 event per year b. Revised Membership Requirements i. 30 credit hours/first-time sophomore standing ii. GPA of 3.2 or higher iii. At least 12 semester hours in education courses programmed, in process, or completed iv. Must attend at least *3 meetings and *3 events per year v. *Student teachers (seniors) must attend 1 meeting and 2 events per year vi. *SNJEA convention and Relay for Life counts for 2 events vii. 2 donations =1 event viii. Donations include 1. Autism t-shirt purchase (Fall) 2. Alexs Lemonade stand Nov.28th 3. Spring Donations (TBA) 4. *Note* purchasing a KDP shirt does not count as a donation. ix. Questions? b. SNJEA Convention 1. Rescheduled to Feb 23, 2013 2. NEW LOCATION: Princeton Marriott 3. SNJEA member registration is still open 4. $32 for membership which grants free access to convention c. Workshop Day 1. Saturday March 2, 2013 SWG Hall *tentative 2. More details to come in Spring 3. Survey: Please circle 3 workshops youd be interested in having and/or write in a topic youd like to see! d. Induction i. Mandatory for all Eligible members ii. April 27th Cavalla Room 12pm iii.
