Statistics Research Project: The Ideal Person Paul Zuo It is ideal for students to have enough sleep, exercise

enough, get all As, AND have enough time to socialize with friends. I plan to take a statistical survey of students at our school to discover if there is evidence that such a person would even exist using the chi square test of association. By using an SRS of sophomores at East, I will look into the statistics afterwards. Project plan 2: Im going to compare the prices of male and female clothes. I could go to the mall and look at stores like Urban Outfitters, Gap, or Aeropostale and look at their gender-neutral clothing/jeans. Based off of an SRS of clothing selections, I would take the data and give a descriptive statistics analysis. Afterwards, I would take a 2 sample t test of the data and make a conclusion on whether the price of male clothing is more expensive or female is more expensive. Project plan 3: Ask 30 people to tell you when 30 seconds has elapsed, perhaps offering a prize if they are within 1 second. Think of a way to conduct this experiment that avoids this potential problem: if you time the 30 seconds by looking at your watch, the subject may be able to draw inferences from your facial expressions. Do your data indicate that people are more likely to underestimate or overestimate the passage of time?
