Working Title Films

Working title is a British company which is based in London which was created by Tim Bevan and Sarah Radclyffe in 1983. The company dont only do films they also produce theatre shows and television series. Tim Bevan was born in New Zealand and had a passion for films through his early years creating him to become the co-owner of working titles.

What is Working Title?

Working titles produce a lot of films varied through genres and whom there target market is for. A vast amount of there films comedy based including comic actors such as Nick Frost, Simon Pegg and Rowan Atkinson. However, other are time period such as there latest film Les Miserable which is also a musical. Age can change from the older generation down to the younger generation. This contrast will involve films like Love Actually compared to films like Nanny McPhee

What types of films do they produce?

Many films are distributed all over the world to be seen in various cinemas and theatres. This will create a large amount of profit for the film company working titles. The countries consist of: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal and many more.

Where are they distributed?

Working Titles produced various television programmes. This was based on different channels but they were very popular. For example, The Borrower, True Love, Birdsong.

On the Telly

The only Theatrical production working titles have produced is Billy Elliot the musical. This has been a hit in Broadway and also in the West end. It has made its 1000th performance on Broadway and will keep powering on for many more years to come.
