In India about 7.5% of the population is above 60 years There are over 81 million elderly people. Split the whole orphanage + old age population into mini-families such that one or more kids are associated to each of the old person / couple - but this should be optional. The aged person / couple may not be willing or physically able to take the responsibility. This should not be a burden but a source of enjoyment making life meaningful. It should have its own family-value structure, resources, time tables, preferences, and its own place to live within the perimeter of the facility.
