Olive Bread.

[aka pane oliva]

This is a super good tasting recipe that my
family has been making for many years..God
bless my mother Genevieve in heaven for her
recipes as well as her teaching and sharing..
You can make this bread as a round bread or
as a long bread..The easy way is the jellyroll
style of making stuffed breads..This is the
recipe...Use your own dough or use dough that
you purchase from your local bakery or supermarket.
1-pound of dough such as pizza dough..
1-can of olives that you must chop.
4-tablespoon of olive oil..
MIX ALL DRY INGREDIENTS WITH THE OLIVE OIL AND
THE CHOPPED OLIVES IN A BOWL.THIS MIXTURE WILL
BE SPREAD ON YOUR 10X15 INCH DOUGH RECTANGLE.
1/2 teaspoon of thyme..
1/2 teaspoon chopped rosemary..
1/2 teaspoon salt..
1/2 teaspoon black pepper..
Grated Parmesan Cheese...
Roll dough into rectangle 10 inch x 15 inch..
Spread all your olive mixture on the dough
rectangle..Shake a generous amount of grated
parmesan cheese over mixture..Then you roll
the dough jellyroll style..Tuck ends under
and seal dough ends by pinching together..
Place on baking sheet with parchment paper..
Let rise about 4 minutes up to an hour..
Brush top with olive oil and make a few
slits on top with a sharp knife..
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 40 minutes..
Enjoy this recipe..God Bless Italian Bread!
Drink some good red wine with this olive bread.
