1. Do you think the Colonel is a good mentor? Why?

a) We can say that colonel is a good mentor by picking up a part from the movie, when

Charlie and George we subjected under disciplinary committee further proceeding were done by Head master Trask after all inquiry has done the committee decided to expel Charlie from New England School , but Colonel intruded the discussion and said that Charlie had done an integrity act and he promised that he would become a great leader , he can make them proud , the school management should not expel great leaders from the school. By arguing like this he took hearts of students and acted as good mentor for Charlie.

2. What do you think Charlie has learned from Colonel Frank? a) Charlie learned to be a leader from Colonel. He learned not to give up, not to compromise his spirits. He learned to be a man of honor. He learned that one should stand for a thing, if he/she really means it.

3. What do the adventures of one week teach them both? a) It teaches them not to give up in life and always stand for the right one what they hope for.

4. Disciplinary hearing that colonel addresses bring forth a few important points, what do you think they are? a) They are courage of Charlie, leadership, integrity shown in the movie. Apart from them how Charlie stood up for what he felt was rite and how he never gave up are also important disciplines shown in this movie.

5. To begin with Colonel is portrayed as a character who is blind and impossible to get along with. How does this notion change by the end of one week vacation that he spends with Charlie? a) At the end of the story both find a way to respect each other and they become good friends. Both save each others backs. Charlie finds a good mentor in colonel and colonel finds a good friend in Charlie and both get along well.
