EKG - An electrocardiogram checks the electrical activity of the heart. It shows how fast the heart is beating, whether the rhythm is regular and the strength of the electrical signals as they pass through the heart. An ECHO and EKG are the best tools to detect the risks of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA), a condition in which the heart suddenly and unexpectedly stops beating. SCA usually causes death (SCD) if it's not treated within minutes. ECHO - An echocardiogram checks structural issues by using sound waves to see how your heart is beating and pumping blood. Images can identify abnormalities in the heart muscle and valves.
