e Out - something that really stood out to you this week during reading groups Review of student work: Determining Importance Rubric 1 2 (Below Standard) (Met Standard) Student cannot identify main idea. Can only name main idea or main idea with one supporting detail. Student can identify the main idea and name at least two supporting details. (Does not copy from the text) 3 (Exceeding Standard) Student is able to identify the main idea and at least three supporting details and writes the information as a paragraph.

Review of student work teacher will share out samples of student work based on the rubric score they received. (this is the time where we may change our score based on conversation around expectations) Record data and finalize plans for next steps (Data coach records grade level data on PLC form while teachers talk and discuss plan for re-teaching and re-assessing) Pacing what is the next comprehension strategy (focus)? Visualizing/ Sensory Images Big Idea Readers make mental images based on their schema and pictures/words in the text Learning Targets: I can make a picture or movie in my mind based on what I am reading I can describe the pictures or movie in my mind by using my five senses I can use my own pictures or movie in my mind to help me understand what I am reading I can support my pictures or movie based on evidence from the text I can describe how my picture changes as I read more of the text Next PLC Bring an activity that youre using to teach visualizing with your students bring samples of your students work too!
