To study the process of preparing a speech. To study the element of speech presentation.

To be aware of certain presentation errors that can negatively affect a speech evaluation.
To learn the basic steps in making a good impression on audience.

Symptoms: Physical symptoms- increased heart rate, increased blood pressure, dilated pupils. Verbal symptoms -a tense voice, a quivering voice, and vocalized pauses.

MISTAKES DONE DURING PRESENTATION

Read directly from notes. Read directly from screen. Turn back on audience. Slouch, hands in pockets. Use of um, ah, you know. Talk too fast.
