RESOLUTION

REOPENING THE RESTROOM FACILITIES AT CREST LAKE PARK IN THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA

WHEREAS, the residents of Clearwater, Florida have chosen to live in a community that chooses to have beautiful parks and recreational facilities maintained through taxes collected by the City of Clearwater, and WHEREAS, these parks and recreational facilities are designed and maintained for the enjoyment and benefit of both residents from, and visitors to the City of Clearwater, and WHEREAS, parks and recreational facilities within the City of Clearwater have planned, designed and built restroom facilities for use as a necessary feature for residents and visitors so that they may enjoy their stay at these locations without fear of discomfort or requiring an unplanned, or hasty exit, and WHEREAS, Crest Lake Park is a unique park that attracts residents and visitors because of its uniqueness to the City of Clearwater, and WHEREAS, the residents of and visitors to the City of Clearwaters Crest Lake Park should have access to a restroom facility WE THEREFORE URGE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER to pass and adopt an order removing the obstacles blocking access to the City of Clearwaters Crest Lake Park restroom facilities during daylight hours, most commonly defined as times between civil sunrise and civil sunset, so that users of this park may continue to enjoy the beauty and ambience WE FURTHER URGE THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER adopt and pass this order within two weeks from the date of the February 21, 2013 presentation Respectfully Submitted, Adopted and Approved by the Clearwater Neighborhoods Coalition
