2. OTHER COUNTRIES, ENTITIES AND CONDITIONS

Officials of the UN and its specialized agencies holding UN Laissez-Passer enjoy visa-free regime when they travel to and work in Mongolia. Participants from countries not listed above or from Category Two countries holding ordinary passports must apply for visa at the nearest Embassies or Consulates of Mongolia (SEE THE LIST BELOW). Those who are not able to obtain visa, can apply for Airport Visa Issuance upon prior notification to the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia at kg@mfat.gov.mn or visa@cdmongolia.mn with all passport details and travel itinerary. Passports must be valid at least for 6 months prior to entry to Mongolia. The Government of Mongolia has taken a decision to waive visa fee where applicable for all participants of the VII Ministerial Conference of the Community of Democracies.
