CONSTRUCTION OF NON-SUSPENDED SLAB

Abstract

Purpose- In the construction of the building or house , slab are the main of the important element to completed the building and without the slab it will be not perfect. This paper briefly describe about the method and planning, equipment and material involved in the construction of the non-suspended ground slab. This paper is produced based on the experience of five month practical training that placed in the construction site of apartment building. Methodology- The paper reviews the relevant about the method that involves in the construction of the non-suspended ground slab and the equipment and machineries that used in the construction of the non-suspended slab. Finding- Within practical training, students are gained some finding through a case study about the non-suspended slab at construction site. There are two findings that student be able to get from this construction of non-suspended slab. The first is student be able to know the method statement of non-suspended slab and second is be able to know the equipment and machineries that used in the non-suspended slab construction. Implication- Through a case study within practical training, the study is just focus to all aspects that related to the construction of non-suspended slab Originality/ Value- As a result of observation found that the construction methods of nonsuspended ground slab are not very complicated. Besides that, some parties that involves in this construction is like engineers, site supervisor and skilled workers.
