About Gloria Marshall Elementary


Gloria Marshall Elementary School is Spring Independent School Districts first green facility. The green features in the school are used to engage students in learning. Students will not only experience energy conservation first-hand, but have opportunities to use their actual learning environment to apply math and science concepts. Our curriculum has been designed for discovery approach learning and instruction that connects disciplinary knowledge to real world problems. Our motto for the 2012 - 2013 school year is: "Keep the Green Alive!"

Campus Special Programs: Recycling


Marshall Elementary 2012-2013 Recycling Program WHEN: Daily WHO: Parents and students WHAT: Aluminum cans and plastic bottles brought to school in plastic bags Where: Parents and students in the Car Rider Line can drop recycling off at the Car Rider Drop Off Students that ride buses can drop off bag of recyclables when they get off the bus Process: Our Student Council members will be weighing our recycling each day and reporting the number of pounds to the recycling company, Waste Management.
