Motivation Motivation as a process is a drive that directs an individuals behavior towards the achievement of a goal. There are 3 elements of motivation 1. Intensity:-it is described as how hard a person tries. This is the basic elements in which most of as focus on. 2. Direction:-however intensity is unlikely to lead to favorable job-performance unless it is given a perfect direction. 3. Persistence: - it is how long a person can maintain his effort. Motivations are of 2 types 1. Extensive:- which others influence us through words 2 intensive:- in this type we get influence among our self by analyzing our previous experiences or by looking at others life experience whom we call as an role model.
