Group Formation Each group will contain 4 members. The grouping will be done on the basis of roll numbers. Each group will contain 4 students with consecutive roll numbers viz. 301 to 304 in first group, 305 to 308 in second group and so on up to 346 to 349 in the last group. Any type of shuffling is strictly restricted.
Circuit Examples The following are some examples of measurement and/or control instruments that can be built for this design exercise. However, students are free to design and build any other measurement or control instruments that conform to the above-stated rules, with the consent of lab instructor. Microcontroller Based Digital Thermometer with LCD Display Microcontroller Based Digital Voltmeter with LCD Display Microcontroller Based Automatic Street Light Controller Microcontroller Based Water Pump Controller Others
Final Submission The final submission should include a working product/instrument that you have built and a brief document explaining your work. The document should be a one or two page printed copy. It must include what the instrument does and what components are used (such as type of sensors, microcontroller, displays, relays, etc.). Also include the circuit layout of the instrument.
Submission Date The final submissions must be made to the lab on Falgun 11 for 067BEL Group B and Falgun 18 for Group A during the lab hours. The submissions will be followed by brief questionnaires about your work.
