Objective:
The main objective of this report is to evaluate the project's potential for success; therefore, the perceived objectivity is an important factor in the credibility to be placed on the study by University management. So this must be conducted with an objective, unbiased approach to provide information upon which decisions can be based. This provides everyone with the proper applicability of all the pre- steps that are needed for predefined development of the proposed system.
Project Summary:
This Project is required because the earlier system that was available requires a lot of manual updating of hundreds of students. So this system was demanded by the management. This system will help the faculty and management to manage all the data on the fly and all the data will be secure in the online database. The Online system is required because of the popularity in the concept of Cloud Computing.
Online storage will help in not maintaining a offline record and if required then a backup can be easily be taken anytime.
Hardware Interfaces
The supported devices by the system are those platforms with dual core or higher processor with at least 1 GB RAM.
Software Interfaces
Web Browser with enabled CSS new features like chrome 17+, firefox 10.0+ etc. Requires Dreamweaver and Notepad++ 6.0 or higher.
Communication Standards
No communication standards required.
Safety Requirements
Not applicable.
Legal feasibility
It determines whether the proposed system conflicts with legal requirements. As this system doesnt violates any pre-existing system and doesnt violate any patent or copyright, so this system is safe to be implemented. All the software and the resources that are required for the development are available online without any payment and are freely downloadable.
Operational feasibility
Operational feasibility is a measure of how well a proposed system solves the problems, and takes advantage of the opportunities identified during scope definition and how it satisfies the requirements identified in the requirements and analysis phase of system development. Provides a online system Helps the management to allow the faculty members to access the system. Helps the management to allocate the username/passwords to the students for the proper working Helps the faculty to accept /reject the certificates accordingly.
Schedule feasibility
A project will fail if it takes too long to be completed before it is useful. Typically this means estimating how long the system will take to develop, and if it can be completed in a given time period using some methods like payback period. Schedule feasibility study for the CC Grading System shows that the initial development of the project will be completed in 2 weeks and then the further features can be added from time to time. The time limit allocated to us for the development of the system is 3 months but as the initial state is ready in only 2 weeks so Schedule Feasibility clears this project.
Time Allocated: 3 months Time Required to built Initial State: 2 weeks Time required managing project from initial state to final state: 5-6 weeks
they provide all the technology required for the development online and free. No money is required in using these technologies.
Financial feasibility
The CC Grading System has been built using technologies that are freely available in the market. Only the coding hours will correspond to the development cost. So Market Feasibility Study shows that the project wont cost much.
Research Scope:
It is a very helpful management system that can be used to save a lot of manual work and further research can be done taking this application as the starting point. Further features can be added to improve the working and show of this project.
