Sheriff Jeff Christopher Of Sussex County Delaware

is fighting for Liberty and the Republican form of government in our sister state.
Astonishingly, the house of representatives in Delaware passed a bill, HB325, stating that the sheriff has no arrest authority. We are a Constitutional Republic and the sheriff is arguably the most important office of trust within our system of jurisprudence. This form of government requires anyone holding a constitutional office to be elected and then swear an oath to follow the existing laws only when written in pursuance to the constitutions, both state and federal. The sheriff is the chief executive of the county, the governor is the executive office in the state, and the president is the chief executive at the federal level. What most concerns the citizen is what goes on locally and therefore the sheriff, being closest and elected by We the People, is our local constitutionally mandated law enforcement. He is our most important ally for self-governance and peacekeeping. Understanding the threat to our Republican form of government, Sheriff Christopher has chosen to assert his office in the face of such an incredible tyranny. Sheriffs Associations and individual Sheriffs around the country are supporting his efforts. For this he deserves our utmost respect, admiration and support. There will be a public meeting in support of Sheriff Christopher June 9, 2012 at 7:00 P. M. in Joseph Burns Hall at the Carroll County Agricultural Center, 706 Agricultural Center, Westminster, Maryland 21157. He will speak to us about his efforts in this battle to keep his people protected from the corrupting influence of centralizing power into fewer un-elected hands. Sheriff Richard Mack will also joining us to speak about these issues. Other Sheriffs are also attending as support grows. This fight for the high and noble office of the sheriff is something we can all support and is a grand opportunity to exercise self governance.
