Frankenstein Lit Circles Discussion Directors (2): Your job is to develop a list of questions and/or topics that your

group will discuss about a certain section of the book. Your task is to facilitate a discussion in order for everyone to uncover the main ideas and themes in the reading and share reactions. The best discussions come from your own thoughts, feelings, and reactions as you read. Applied Practitioner (1): Your job is to make the reading relevant and bring the text to life! Make connections to outside material (other classes, subjects, pop culture, politics, etc.) Use textto-self, text-to-text, and text-to-world connections to enhance the reading and discussion experience. Passage master (1): Your job is to find the important quotations from the chapter and bring them to the attention of the group for discussion. You should find quotes that are meaningful in some way, whether they are significant to the plot of the story, a major theme, or if they are just lines that you found particularly interesting!
