The time now is 1820 hours. My name is Detective Terry Jones; my code number’s
6354. I’m with Louisville Metro Police Department. This is a continuation interview with Mr.
Guy Fell pertaining to the events that occurred on August 20th of 2008. Um, Mr. Fell and Mrs.
Fell, did I ask any questions of your son while the tape was off?

Mrs. Fell No.

Jones No, and we stopped it because the… the

practice, or at this particular day was over, and
we didn’t want to be distracted, and I want to
afford your son the privacy of giving an
interview to me, okay. So I re-started the tape
and we’re on Side B, and at this time I believe
we led off to questioning as it relates to any
teammates becoming ill. And at that time that
Max Gilpin became ill and Antonio Calloway
became ill..

Fell Yes sir.

Jones Was this during the drills, doing the running

sprints or after the running sprints?

Fell During but I didn’t know while we were

running that they were ill.

Jones Okay you didn’t approach-ly know; he didn’t

approach-ly see?

Fell No, I was paying attention to myself.

Jones Okay so these names here, Mr. Gilpin and Mr.

Callaway are what you heard that the players
who became ill?

Fell Yes sir.

Jones Okay um, during the practice of this year, have

you personally seen or heard of any teammates
being injured or quitting the team?

Fell Yes sir.

Jones Okay were there any names that you recall as

specific players who have quit?

Fell No, just freshmen; freshmen… they couldn’t

make it.

Jones Freshmen, mostly freshmen?

Fell Yes sir.

Jones Has anyone influenced you in any way to

withhold information or change any of the
facts that actually occurred during the practice?

Fell No sir.
