What is the Students Union?

Any student can start these on topics such as LGBT, Faith, Sports, Fundraising

How can YOU get involved?


Student Union Groups Meet and organise activities based on a specific area such as LGBT, Charity, Faith Represent their area at Student Council meetings Department Reps Take forward issues from the Council to meetings with Senior Management Team Feedbacks responses and action to the council.

Student Council Members Collect views from their class and brings them to council meetings for discussion. Feedbacks responses and action to their class.

Student Union President and Vice President Supports Department Reps at SMT meeting. Maintains contact with SMT to monitor action. Represent NWKC SU in the National Union of Students Keeps students informed of NUS campaigns. Represents students at College Governor meetings

There will be benefits for students who give their time to the Students Union. These rewards will be finalised at a later date. The reward scheme will work on the basis of the level of commitment and dedication. This will work in 3 levels as below:
