Partnerships: o $120,000 grant from Boeing through the College of Charleston for the Green Heart Project o MUSC has pediatricians to come see the students. o Charleston Community Yoga that has free yoga for faculty members.

Programs that are offered: o Green Heart Fully operational and urban organic garden. Students work alongside volunteers in the garden weekly and are an active part in the planting, watering, weeding, harvesting and maintaining of the garden as a part of the Green Heart Project educational program.

STEM Activities being offered: o o o o o Allows all students to manage their own bank accounts at school Allows all students to take at least four science based field trips a year. 3rd graders participate in an urban gardening project. 4th graders construct ocean buoys 5th graders learn math by being taught in school by local architects. They will also construct controlled underwater vehicles.
