    The student himself / herself has to find a Supervisor in IIT Bombay according to his / her stream and the Supervisor's consent is to be sought. The duly filled application form signed by the student, Principal / Director of the college, Guide & Head of the Department is to be submitted to the Academic Office. After approval, he / she will be informed to make appropriate payment to the cash section, IIT Bombay at the rates given below.

    Thestudenthimself/herselfhastofindaSupervisorinIITBombayaccordingtohis/herstream
    andtheSupervisor'sconsenttosupervisehis/herprojectworkistobesought.

    2.

    AftertheSupervisoragreestosupervisehis/herprojectwork,he/shecangettheformfromthe
    AcademicOffice/downloadfromtheIITWebsite.(www.iitb.ac.in)

    3.

    Thedulyfilledapplicationformsignedbythestudent,Principal/DirectoroftheCollege,Guide
    &HeadoftheDepartment,IITBombayistobesubmittedtotheAcademicOfficealongwith
    therecommendationletterfromhis/herCollegePrincipal/Directorandtworecentphotographs.

    4.

    Onreceiptoftheform,his/herrequestwillbeprocessedfurtherforobtainingapprovalofthe
    CompetentAuthority.Afterapproval,he/shewillbeinformedtomakeappropriatepaymentto
    theCashSection,IITBombayattheratesgivenbelow:

    i)Summertraining(8weeks)Rs.6,000/
    ii)Degreeprojectwork(B.E./B.Tech./Rs.15,000/
    M.Sc./MCA)foraperiodupto6months
    iii)Masters'projectwork(M.Tech.Level)Rs.20,000/
    foraperiodupto6months
    iv)Masters'projectwork(M.Tech.Level)Rs.25,000/
    formorethan6monthsandupto1year
    5.Afterpayingthefees,thestudenthastosubmittheoriginalformand
    originalreceiptofpaymentoffeestotheAcademicOffice.Thenhe/she
    maybeaskedtogotheSecuritySectiontoobtaintheApplicationForm
    forIdentityCardwhichhe/shehastofillandgetitverifiedfromthe
    AcademicOfficetosubmitthesametotheSecuritySection,IITBombay.
    6.Thestudentwillbepermittedtousethelibraryfacilitiesasperrulesbyusing
    thistemporaryIdentityCard.

    7.Ifthestudentwantshostelfacilities,he/shemaycontactMr.Pillaion
    on02225768900intheHostelCoordinatingUnit(HCU)ormailat
    hcu.office@iitb.ac.in
    8.Oncompletionoftheprojectwork,thestudenthastosubmitacopyofApplicationForm
    whereintheGuidecertifiesthathe/shehascompletedhis/herprojectworksatisfactorily
    withrelevantdetails.
    9.Onreceiptofthesame,AcademicOfficewillissueaProjectCompletion
    Certificatetotheconcernedstudent.
