Step 1: Network Setting in DVR Open DVR using IP address (default: 192.0.0.64) in Internet Explore. Default: Login details // username: admin, Password: 12345 Set the DVR IP address in the existing network range. Dont forget to enter the DNS Address.

Step 2: Configure hkDDNS in DVR 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Network Settings-> DDNS Enable DDNS Choose Protocol Type to hkDDNS Enter the Server Address www.hik-online.com Enter Device Domain Name
Step 3: Port Forwarding of DVR in the Router 1. Open the Router page 2. Forward the http port (80) and the communication port (8000) of a device to its local IP address. Step 4: Then you could access the device directly from an IE web browser by using the URL below, as long as the device is online.
1. Open www.hik-online.com
2. Open Internet Explorer In the address bar, type IP address of DDNS Management Server Http://www.hik-online.com Login page shown as Figure.

4. Enter in user name and password as per yours. And click OK to save. After creating a user, enter in User name and password. Then click Login to enter DDNS Management System
Note: This login is for dealers and disturbers only. After login further they can add their Customers DVR under this login, also they can add, edit, delete the DVR from here of his particular user/customer.
Device Management

Click Device Management, there is no device at first time. Click Add button to add device. Also we can Modify and delete the devices from this console.
1. Enter in Device aliases name and serial number. 2. By default, http port is 80. If http port of device was changed from 80, please enter new port in Http Port area.
Note: Make sure Device Alias and serial number you input are exactly correct, otherwise device cannot register to DDNS server successfully.
Device Status
Click Device Status to show all added devices information like Serial number, Dynamic IP, HTTP port, DDNS IP address.

If the setup has been done successfully, there are two ways to access your device: 1. Login in to DDNS Management System first, then click device name, it will automatically link to device login page. 2. Directly type in www.hik-online.com/DeviceAlias name in IE address bar to access device Example:
