MATERIALS PROCUREMENT PLAN The Project has assigned a Project Manager in order to implement the LEED requirements and

he shall be in supervision over the materials to be purchase for the project. Also materials log sheet is to be maintained which is to record the movement of the materials in the project. The materials log sheet shall include the regional, recycled materials details and waste generated and diverted during the construction. PLAN STRATEGY: Knowing the Requirements: Prior to starting the procurement activities, the Project Manager shall be trained with other officials of the project by the LEED Facilitator Conserve Consultants. The training shall include the briefing about the LEED Certification, Benefits of Green Building and LEED requirements based on the applied credits. The applied credits are:

MR c 4.1& 4.2 - Recycled Content : 5%, 10% (post-consumer + postindustrial) MR c 5.1- Regional Materials : 20% - Manufacturing MR c 5.2 - Regional Materials : 50% - Extraction from manufacturing EQ Credit 4.1 - Low-Emitting Materials, Adhesives & Sealants EQ Credit 4.2 - Low-Emitting Materials, Paints EQ Credit 4.3 - Low-Emitting Materials, Composite Wood & Agrifibre products

Establishing Goals: Based on the requirements of the projects the project team shall arrive a suitable goal on considering the projects needs, budget, location and market strategies. Identifying the Vendors: After goal setting, the Project manager shall search the market for the possible products which meets the LEED requirements. Identifying and short listing the probable vendors and manufacturers for the project requirements. Decision shall be made by the management on the shortlisted and contract shall be made. Contract shall be awarded to the vendors upon submitting LEED compliance documents.

Record and Maintenance: Point of origin documentation of construction waste materials will be kept on site and at the dump yard locations to maintain records of jobsite progress. Progress reports with photographs and letters, invoice, datasheets, cut sheets shall be kept. Records showing the material incomings and outgoings shall be done by the civil contractors under the supervision of Project manager and monitored by Project management The record shall be used for the LEED submission.
