Overview Client Survey: My client has one pet which is a turtle. He does not live with anyone, is 19 years old, and plays his guitar and listens to his music in his free time. My client enjoys having people over occasionally and did not want a second floor on his house. He did not want any specific rooms and also did not want a garage. My client does not like natural sunlight and has a job as a musician/producer. Location: The location of the house is set on a half acre in Noblesville Indiana and has roads on all four sides of the house. Site Description & Orientation: On the left side of the house there is a tree that shades it. There are also trees in the backyard. There are roads on all four sides of the house making this half acre lot quite unique. The house is facing the South which is facing the road opposite of Maple Street. Codes & Regulations: The constraints of this house are the normal ones for Habitat for Humanity. Some of the constraints being that this house having two bedrooms can only be 900ft and can only have one full bathroom. This house was also made with universal designs that consist of everywhere having a five foot turning radius for those who are handicapped and in a wheelchair. Accessories such as the washer, dryer, and stove are front load so handicapped ones can easily access them without struggle or injury. The doors are three feet wide which is a universal design regulation. Exceptions: The correct windows and doors constrained in the Habitat for Humanity codes were not used and replaced by others for a more aesthetic look to the house. Style & Landscaping: The style of the house is boxy and goes with the neighborhood quite well because the rest of the neighborhood has boxy housing. The land has three trees on it that provide a sufficient amount of shading. There is no other shrubbery or trees that go on the landscape.
