Average Total Inspection (ATI) - The average number of units inspected per lot, including all units in rejected

lots (applicable when the procedure calls for 10 0% inspection of rejected lots) Acceptable quality level (AQL)-A statistical measurement of the maximum number o f defective goods considered acceptable in a particular sample size. If the acce ptable quality level (AQL) is not reached for a particular sampling of goods, ma nufacturers will review the various parameters in the production process to dete rmine the areas causing the defects.
