Chinm aya Vrind avan, in association with Sound arya Lahiri, a non-profit organizatton promotirg Sriaidya tradition and Srichakra worship, hosted an Ashtottara Sata Homa Kunda Srichakra Homam on S"p . 29 to purify the ashram for the upcomi.g grounds construc{ion of a new RadhaKrishna temple. Swami Shantananda and Swami Siddhananda were at the Bindu Homam with Sri Subbarao Kompella from Soundarya Lahiri, who chanted the Panchadasi,the Lalitha Soutbhagya and the Khadgamala Sahasranamam Stotram. The 108 homa kundams

covering a chakraof 250ft.by 251ft. and the fire offerings of 108 aromatic herbs and five different kinds of gheeespecially from India, charged the atmosphere with spiritual vibrations. The altar, decorated with a cascade of bangles in glisteni^g colours, was graced with a beautiful picture of Goddess Kamakshi studded with hundreds of Swarovski crystals. The large scale homa,conducted for the first time in North America, was attended by 1500 people.
