Charlie Chaplin was an acrobat in his early years but ended up becoming a great actor and comedian in as well. Chaplin was actually so great at what he did that he became the director of his own films. Chaplin negotiated with Mutual, an entertainment company, to receive an annual pay of $670,000 making him one of the most paid people in the world at the age of 26. The studio even gave Chaplin his own Los Angeles studio to work in. Chaplin believed that anything comedic in a film should happen naturally instead of fabricating it. By following his belief he only controlled scenes as little as possible to allow any natural comedic situations to happen while still maintaining the scene. This technique worked well with the audience because they could easily relate to the situation. This caused all of chaplins films to become popular among many and shot his career off into a bright future.

F. Scott Fitzgerald:
Fitzgerald is a widely known author of very entertaining books. Fitzgerald published tales of the jazz age which is a collection of many short stories. it stood above other books because of its widely favored stories of may day and the diamond as big as the ritz. he inspired many people with his literature throughout his career. other authors wrote to Fitzgerald expressing their gratitude to him for writing fictional stories. In fact he was considered American Fictions first step taken since Henry James. After Scott published his first few novels readers and critics expected more interesting works of literature from him. his first two novels that caught critics attention were the side of paradise and the beautiful and the damned.
