    A full wave bridge rectifier circuit uses four diodes arranged in a bridge configuration to convert alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC). The circuit allows both halves of the input AC waveform to be used, doubling the output voltage compared to a half wave rectifier. It rectifies both polarities of the input voltage to produce a pulsing DC voltage that can be filtered into a less pulsing DC voltage.
