Hunt for the Boston Marathon suspects

A deadly chase through the Boston suburbs early Friday led to the death of one of the suspects in the April 15 bombing at the Boston Marathon. A campus police officer was also killed, and the other suspect is on the run. What happened so far:

Suspect No. 1 (dead)

5:10 p.m. Investigators release photos, video of the two suspects Around 10 p.m. 1 Two men rob a 7/11 in Cambridge, Mass.; security camera catches a man identified as one of the suspects 10:30 p.m. 2 MIT campus police officer who was responding to a disturbance is found shot in his cruiser, apparently by the suspects; officer later pronounced dead Short time later Two armed men reportedly carjack a Mercedes SUV in Cambridge; they hold a man who was in the vehicle for about a half hour; release him unharmed 3 Police pursue carjacked vehicle to Watertown, Mass.; explosive devices are thrown from the vehicle, and carjackers and police exchange fire; transit police officer seriously wounded, and one suspect, later identified as Suspect No. 1, is injured and later pronounced dead Police begin manhunt for Suspect No. 2
