Elegant Twist Beading Pattern

This fun beading pattern will teach you how to make a lovely Elegant Twist tubular peyote necklace or bracelet! With over 60 high resolution full color photos and easy to follow step by step directions, you'll be amazed how something so intricate looking can be so much fun! This pattern, also called a Cellini Spiral, is the perfect new beading project to dive into! It would be helpful if you have some experience stitching with beads, but don't be afraid to tackle this project if you don't the steps are broken down so you can easily learn this beautiful pattern! Materials:
(1 roll) (1) (1 tube) (1 tube) (1 tube) (1 tube) (1 tube) (1 tube) (1) (1) FireLine or WildFire beading thread (I recommend 6lb) Long beading needle (I like size 12's) 15/0 seed beads we'll call [15/0-A] 15/0 seed beads we'll call [15/0-B] 11/0 seed beads we'll call [11/0-A] 11/0 seed beads we'll call [11/0-B] 8/0 seed beads we'll call [8/0-A] 8/0 seed beads we'll call [8/0-B] Clasp of your choice lobster claw and jump ring, toggle, magnet, etc. Flush cutter

Step 1:

Thread your needle with a comfortable length Slide on (2) [15/0-A] seed beads. of thread usually about 1 yard.

Step 3:
Slide on (2) [15/0-B] seed beads.

Step 4:
Slide on (2) [11/0-A] seed beads.

Step 5:
Slide on (2) [11/0-B] seed beads.

Step 6:
Slide on (2) [8/0-A] seed beads.

Step 7:
Slide on (2) [8/0-B] seed beads.

Repeat steps 6, 5, 4, then 3

Step 9:
Slide the beads down to then end of the thread leaving a tail at least 12 long, which will be used later to attach the clasp.

Step 10:
Go through all the beads again, starting with the [15/0-A] beads closest to the tail.

Step 11:
Go through the next (2) [15/0-A] beads (1) more time.

Step 12:
Since you're coming out of a [15/0-A] bead, slide on (1) [15/0-A], skip the next (1) [15/0-B] and go through the following (1) [15/0-B].

Step 13:
Since you're coming out of a [15/0-B] bead, slide on (1) [15/0-B], skip the next (1) [11/0-A] and go through the following (1) [11/0-A].

Step 14:
Since you're coming out of an [11/0-A] bead, slide on (1) [11/0-A], skip the next (1) [11/0-B] and go through the following (1) [11/0-B].

Step 15:
Since you're coming out of an [11/0-B] bead, slide on (1) [11/0-B], skip the next (1) [8/0-A] and go through the following (1) [8/0-A].

Step 16:
Since you're coming out of an [8/0-A] bead, slide on (1) [8/0-A], skip the next (1) [8/0-B] and go through the following (1) [8/0-B].

Step 17:
Since you're coming out of an [8/0-B] bead, slide on (1) [8/0-B], skip the next (1) [8/0-A] and go through the following (1) [8/0-A].

Since you're coming out of an [8/0-A] bead, slide on (1) [8/0-A], skip the next (1) [11/0-B] and go through the following (1) [11/0-B].

Step 19:
Since you're coming out of an [11/0-B] bead, slide on (1) [11/0-B], skip the next (1) [11/0-A] and go through the following (1) [11/0-A].

Step 20:
Since you're coming out of an [11/0-A] bead, slide on (1) [11/0-A], skip the next (1) [15/0-B] and go through the following (1) [15/0-B].

With the flat side of your flush cutter, cut off the remaining tail thread.

Step 28:
Thread your needle on a length of thread, then go through the (2) [15/0-A] beads.

Step 61:
Then, go through the (1) [15/0-A] bead, clasp and (1) [15/0-A] bead.

Step 62:
Repeat steps 58-61 several more times. Once your clasp is secure, work your way down the adjacent [11/0-B] beads to bury your thread.

Step 63:
Then, cut off the tail thread with the flat side of your flush cutter. Also, cut off any remaining tails from burying new threads.

Step 64:
Repeat steps 31-63 to attach the other end of your clasp. Then, you're finished! Enjoy!
