Idiyappam Mix Fresh Coconut Grated Warm Water Salt Method

Knead the Idiyappam mix with hot water into soft dough. Divide it into balls that will fit into the Idiyappam press. On the Idli stand scatter little grated coconut, then press out the idiappam in a 4 circle, do make sure that ends overlap. Sprinkle grated coconut on top. Pour 150 ml of water in the pot and set it on medium flame. Once the steam rises, place the idli stand and reduce the flame to low. Again when the steam rises from the edge of lid, reduce the flame & cook till the needle reaches second dot in green area. Switch it off & let is stand for 10 mins. Serve hot with stew or with cold milk & sugar.
