SketchBook Pro/Ink (app) - really good for sketching quick ideas and you can do it anywhere (eg painting on the train etc) WURM (app) creating patterns can be time consuming and boring but this app allows you to do it quickly and makes the process fun. In Art we create patterns and backgrounds for almost every sketchbook page and often as part of our coursework Phoster (app) - very fun for creating leaflet/poster/handout designs iPhoto (app) - This app on the iPad helps me with my subject as it will allow me to collect photos to use as a secondary resource, it will also let me download videos such as artists speaking which would help with my subject too. Learn to use Brushes in Adobe Photoshop CS5 (app) this helps me to learn different techniques using brushes, it will give me an idea of what brushes to use and will improve my work in the future. Afterlight (app) - helps me to edit pictures and will improve images that are on the ipad. It helps me to change contrast, brightness and other techniques to improve an image. iGraffiti (app) - lets me draw on top of images and create new primary resources.
