Rules and Scoring


Follow the directions and scoring guide below. Then record the point totals for each team at the end of each round. Rules of the game: You must place a part of your body on a piece of territory (poster board) to control it. You can place parts of your body on more than one piece of territory. Your team earns points for each member on each piece of territory. You may not move any of the territory. You may not push, shove, or grab each other. You must follow the directions for each round, as shown below.
BLUE Team Points ROUND 1 All teams may claim any territory. Points: Each territory = 1 point. BLUE team earns 5 points for white territory. ROUND 2 All teams may claim any territory. Points: Each territory = 1 point. BLUE and RED teams earn 5 points for white territory. ROUND 3 All teams may claim any territory. Points: White territory = 5 points for all teams. Other territory = 1 point. ROUND 4 All teams may claim any territory. Points: White territory = 10 points. GREEN team may decide who can be on the white territory. Other territory = 1 point. ROUND 5 Points for each territory will be awarded to any team with at least four members on it. The RED team can only earn points for the white territory if they are the only ones on it. Anything goes and all previous rules from Rounds 14 are cancelled. Points: White territory = 50 points. Other territory = 1 point. One piece of territory was more valuable than others were to the groups. By Round 4, the Green team was able to decide who could have the most valuable piece of territory. In Round 5, the Red team developed a plan to ensure they would control the most valuable piece of territory, while other teams tried to remain there.
