The Kannapolis Police Department recently added an online crime reporting module to its website.

This function allows citizens to submit certain police reports online. Reports filed electronically are processed in the same manner as reports taken in person. Once the report is reviewed and validated by the agency Records Division and if applicable, it will be assigned to an officer. A representative will contact citizens during normal business hours. Citizens must provide a current or valid email address to report an offense online.
