One evidence that I have found is long go, Chinese merchants from Fujian brought spices, porcelain, ivor lacquerware, processed silk cloth and other commodities from us Filipinos because they want to trade it with the Spanish Silver of the Spaniards. Because of that lucrative trading many Chinese were attraced to migrate in the Philippines. Interweaved themselves into Philippines Society, marrying local women, and today most Filipinos have some degree of Chinese genetic heritage.

3. I think China had the most influence to the early Filipino. Here is he reason why: Filipinos learned how to manufactured gunpower, refined techniques of metallurgy, and making of brass gongs from the Chinese. The consumption of Chinese staples such as rice, buns and noodles became widespread. The largest contribution of Chinese came in the from of language like Ate, Kuya, Tokwa, Bakya,Hikaw and Biko. Wearing of the kamisa de chino, loose pants andlongsleeved shirt. Our food like Hopia, Siomai, Lumpia etc. And the most long lasting influence of China is commerce and trade.

4. For me it is the Japan that had the minimal influence to the early Filipino. They influence us inly in our form of living, they teaches us Duck Raising, Fish Breeding, Removing slipers before entering the house and planting Japanese plants like Bonsai.
