Psych Dream Project

In this assignment you will complete a sleep log, create a Freudian visual representation of a dream, & write an essay in which you describe and analyze 1) Sleep patterns/habits 2) Dreams Paper Pick 1 Dream (school appropriate!!!) 1. Describe the content of your dream(manifest content) 2. Analyze your dream from 3 perspectives a. Psychoanalytic Perspective (Freud) b. Biopsychological Approach c. Dream Website 3. Decide which interpretation is the most valid for analyzing your dream and explain why. 4. Include your perceptions about dreams EX: common themes/emotions; anything you have discovered about yourself or your dreams, your views about why we dream; etc. (personal reflection statement!!!) 5. Your paper must contain: a. An introduction and conclusion b. Appropriate grammar, punctuation, spelling c. Brief description of your sleeping and dreaming patterns/habits d. Deep personal analyzation of your dreams from the three perspectives. e. Explanation of which one is most valid f. Your own perceptions about dreams.
