Human Resources Development Centre

The Human Resources Development Centre (HRDC) was established in 2001 at the Institute of Administrative Sciences , University of the Punjab. It is a management development and consultancy organization. The objective of the HRDC is to foster a perception and appreciation of human resource development and its importance to national development in Pakistan by establishing an information system and promoting good governance through R&D and training. It is intended to act as a think tank in support of public sector activities relevant to need assessment, policy development and management and is contributing towards establishment of networks for development. Overall, it assists in the planning and management of HRD programs both in public and private sectors. It also strengthens institutions of higher education and learning through faculty and staff development. The HRDC vision is: To continuously improve the quality of human resources working in public and private sector organizations for better performance and kindness towards others. This vision serves as the basis for HRDC values which are embodied in the commitment to learning and development, people, teamwork and cooperation, customer service, and good governance at all levels. HRDC actively engages in standardized as well as customized training and development programs for educational and professional managers, executives, staff and students. It also provides consultancy services in the areas of leadership, management, human resource management, marketing, finance, project management, health administration, MIS, gender issues, transport and mobility matters, teaching skills and public administration. Other services offered include placement services, career counseling and research & development.
